Sati is still lost in Shiva’s thoughts. Prasuti assures her husband that it’s only a passing phase and Sati will get over it. She advises Sati that she must be truthful and tell her father that she has given up the delusions about Shiva. Sati is confused by conflicting thoughts.

Sati confesses her love for Mahadev to her father. An angry Daksh creates a Daksh Rekha around her and tells her that she or Shiva must never cross it. Unhappy, Sati tries to burn herself by crossing the line. Mahadev stops her and reminds her again of her duty to her father.

Revati is upset that Chandrama ignores her and prefers his other wife Rohini. Daksh tells Chandrama to give equal attention to Revati. When Chandrama doesn’t agree, Daksh puts a curse on him. Narad Muni pleads with Mahadev to do something as his silence is feeding Daksh’s arrogance.

An angry Mahadev sets out to destroy Daksh. The gods begin to fear that his anger may harm Sati. Narada rushes to Lord Vishnu asking him to help calm Mahadev. Even Brahma and Vishnu cannot do anything, because under Daksh’s law, they cannot worship Shiva. But Vishnu then comes up with an idea.

Lord Vishnu appears before Daksh and says he has upset the balance of the universe by destroying Chandrama and asks him to create a new planet in place of Chandrama. Meanwhile, Rishi Dadhichi announces that Shiva has taken his Rudra-roop. What calamities will it cause?

Sati is sent to bring soil from the River Saraswati for a planet that Daksh is creating. Goddess Lakshmi takes the form of Sati and comes to the palace. By the river, Sati meets two rishis, who ask her to help them with a Shiva puja. Lakshmi disappears after leaving a bunch of lotuses on the throne.

Narad Muni marvels at the miracles of Vishnu and Lakshmi, which they performed so that the Daksh Rekha could be removed and Sati could do the Shiva puja to calm Shiva’s anger. Narad tells Sati that she is Mahashakti, the other half of Mahadev. What will Sati do now?

Mahadev saves Chandrama from Daksh’s plan to create a new planet. Shiva wears the crescent moon in his hair to protect Chandrama from Daksh. Vishnu says the day will be celebrated as Maha Shivaratri, when Mahadev will grant the wishes of his devotees.

Sati is deeply saddened by Mahadev continuing to ignore her and shares her feelings with Madanike. The dancer consoles her and then requests Mahadev to meet Sati. They meet on the auspicious night of Maha Shivaratri.

Mahadev tells Sati that it is impossible for them to be together. She begs him not to punish her because of his enmity with her father. Mahadev then explains the reality of the human body and why she cannot marry him. Prajapati Daksh arrives on the scene and declares that Sati will be put to death.

Angered by Daksh, Mahadev aims his Trishul at him. But he lets Daksh go when Sati pleads for his life. Sati blames herself for hurting her father and seeks his forgiveness. Daksh expresses his happiness at getting his daughter back. But he is not done with Mahadev yet.

Prajapati Daksh swears that Sati will never be joined with Mahadev, but Anusuya asks her to keep the Nanda Vrat and attain the Lord through devotion. She also warns her that the Vrat must never be interrupted. Brahma and Vishnu try to get Mahadev to marry Sati for the good of the world.

Revati gives Sati the Nanda Vrat, the book which prescribes its rituals. But she is very disturbed when she is unable to open it. Revati assures her that the next day will be a new beginning. However, the next day, Daksh makes a shocking announcement about Sati’s fate.

Daksh assures Sati that her marriage will only be with his consent. Sati, meanwhile, follows the rituals of the Nanda Vrat and shapes a clay Shivaling. She goes to the graveyard to collect ash, when Mahadev appears before her. He tells her to give up the Nanda Vrat and vanishes even as she objects.

Sati tries to stop her parents from doing Jal Samadhi. But Daksh is sure that he has fulfilled his role as a father and must leave the world. When Sati goes to immerse the Shivaling, Lakshmi asks Vishnu why she is being kept apart from Shiva when she was born to marry him. Vishnu asks her to wait for events to unfold.

Mahadev slays the monster which attacks Sati. On Nandi’s request, Mahadev asks Sati not to immerse the Shivaling. She agrees and hands over the sacred object to Nandi. It is a gesture that will change her destiny.

Daksh goes ahead with plans for Sati’s marriage. Revati tells Prasuti about Sati’s devotion to Mahadev and she conveys it to Daksh. Sati throws the Rudraksh away and orders the maids to close the windows so she does not have to see the Himalayas. Then, Prasuti sees the Trishul mark on Sati’s arm.

Prasuti tells Daksh about the Trishul mark on Sati’s arm. Enraged, Daksh demands an explanation and vows to destroy the symbol. Even as Rishi Kashyap goes in search of a cure, Sati decides to burn the mark on her arm.

Sati fails to burn away the mark on her arm. She requests Mahadev to stay out of her life. To Prasuti’s surprise, the mark on Sati’s arm vanishes on its own. Prajapati Daksh is shocked when all prospective grooms turn down Sati’s marriage proposal. What will Daksh do now?

Even as Tarakasur sends Gantak to kill Sati, Mahadev comes to her rescue. An angry Tarakasur beheads Gantak for not following his orders. Meanwhile, Daksh visits Angira Rishi with Sati’s marriage proposal for Sadhbhish. The Rishi agrees to accept Sati as his daughter-in -law on one condition.

Revati tries to convince Sati, but Sati faints on the day of Sadbhish’s visit.

When Daksh reaches Jata’s abode, he has to first get past his servant who has vowed to humble the arrogant Prajapati. In the palace, Sati is so distracted by conflicting thoughts about Mahadev’s rejection and her loyalty to her father, she doesn’t notice her clothes catching fire during the puja.

Prajapati Daksh seeks Jata’s help to transform Sadhbhish into a handsome person. Jata’s servant tries to prevent Daksh’s wish being granted. But Jata promises Daksh that he will help him. Daksh is happy and returns to give the good news to Prasuti and Sati.

Prajapati Daksh welcomes Jata to his palace where he sings a song that mesmerises Sati. Later, Jata agrees to transform Sadhbhish on the condition that Sati stays with him until his work is finished. However, Daksh and Prasuti are against that. Will Jata finish what he promised to do?

Sati believes the music she heard is a blessing from the gods and feels healed. Daksh, meanwhile, asks Jata to complete his task. Daksh tells Prasuti that though Jata is arrogant, he is a skilled sculptor. On her father’s request, Sati asks Jata to work on transforming Sadhbhish.

Jata asks Sati to stay around him, while he is engaged in sculpting a figure of Sadhbhish. Jata’s servant reveals that his master is none other than Mahadev himself. Sati is again lost in thoughts of Mahadev and expresses her unhappiness at having to marry Sadhbhish.

Jata refuses the comforts of the palace and wishes to stay in a village. There, a small boy stands on a Shivaling while reaching for a Bilva fruit. The villagers curse the boy for disrespecting the idol, but Mahadev appears before him and grants him two boons.

Jata arrives at Sukarna’s house, carrying fruits and toys, and introduces himself as his maternal uncle. Sukarna’s mother knows it is Mahadev. Sukarna doesn’t want Jata to leave, but his servant says he must go so he can bring him an aunt. Meanwhile, a crocodile is about to attack Sati.

Jata’s servant Sevakram tells Sati the story of Jata’s love for a princess who betrayed him. Sati, in turn, tells Sevakram about her connection with Mahadev. A rishi warns Daksh to marry off Sati at the earliest. Daksh seeks Jata’s advice to ensure Sati’s welfare.

Sati sees Mahadev in Jata and he reveals that he has come to earth as a sculptor. He assures her of his immense love for her and says he has had to sacrifice his love for her welfare. Sati is angry at Mahadev for renouncing her. He, in turn, reminds her of her promise and loyalty to Daksh.

Sati is angry when Mahadev insists on her marrying Sadhbhish. She tells Revati the truth about Jata and Revati asks her to marry Mahadev. Sati pleads with Jata to use his powers as Mahadev and stop her marriage with Sadhbhish.

Prajapati Daksh and Prasuti are pleased by the new image of Sadhbhish. Even Sati appreciates Jata’s work. As Jata is leaving, Daksh asks him to create an idol of Shiva which can be displayed at Sati’s upcoming wedding with Sadhbhish.

Sati is pursued by Sadhbhish, who has a monster within him. Rishi Dadhichi is not able to help Sati, but Mahadev slays the monster. Sati returns to the palace and the marriage rituals begin. But Sadhbhish’s actions leave everyone shocked.

Sadhbhish confesses his guilt to Prajapati Daksh and Sati. His attractive image sculpted by Jata changes back to his original ugliness. Daksh is furious and curses him and his father Angira Rishi. Sati begins to weep before a Mahadev idol when her father appears.

Sati tells Revati that Mahadev had arrived on earth only for her and that she wishes to go with him to Kailash. But Jata advises her to obey her father. Daksh goes ahead with the marriage plans for Sati and insists that all his citizens should attend.

Joyous after her meeting with Jata, Sati decides to take his advice. Rishi Kashyap is annoyed by Daksh’s arrogance and predicts that Sati’s marriage will only be with Lord Shiva. Rishi Atri reveals Jata’s real identity to Daksh. How will Daksh respond?

Daksh is furious to see that Sati has garlanded an idol of Lord Shiva. Sati is in deep prayer and Mahadev, moved by her devotion, appears before her. Sati is overjoyed to see the Lord, but Daksh again declares his opposition to him and attacks Mahadev with his words.

Prajapati Daksh drags Sati away from the marriage venue. Brahma and Vishnu appear before Daksh and insist that he should give Sati in marriage to Shiva. Daksh has no option but to agree and the marriage of Shiva and Sati takes place.

Lord Vishnu and Brahma wish Mahadev and Sati on the auspicious occasion. Lord Shiva asks Sati to seek the blessing of her parents. Prasuti blesses the bride and groom with all her heart. But when Sati turns to Daksh, his blessings are half-hearted.
