Tecno Spark 4 Air: Specifications, Features and Price

The Tecno Spark 4 Air is the younger sibling of the Tecno Spark 4. If anything, it looks like it is designed as an alternative to the Itel P15 Pro for Tecno lovers.

The device may not pack much in specifications but it still stands well with some decent features.

Below are the features and specifications of the Tecno Spark 4 Air codenamed Tecno KC6.

Design and Display

The Tecno Spark 4 Air has very tiny bezels and a waterdrop notch. The front camera sits on the notch while somehow though, Tecno manages on tho fix the speaker, flashlight and other sensors on the very slim top bezels.

The bottom bezel is a little bit large that the top bezel and helps to provide sturdiness for the phone. On the left side of the phone are the power and volume buttons. The USB port and mic are housed at the bottom of the phone.

At the back of the phone is the dual camera cutout in a vertical format, with the LED flash separating the modules. The Spark label follows and also the Tecno brand label is at the bottom left, just before the speaker.

There is also a fingerprint cutout. The body of the phone is made with polycarbonate (plastic). Colors available are Royal Purple, Vacation Blue, Misty Grey, and Energetic Orange.

In the design aspect, we have a 6.1 inch IPS U notch display on the Spark 4 Air. This offers a 720*1560 pixel resolution and a screen to body ratio of about 80%.

The graphics processing unit is manned by the Imagination Technologies PowerVR GE8320 chip with speed clocked at 650MHz.

Camera Specifications

The Tecno Spark 4 Air is the toned down version of the Tecno Spark 4 thus the camera specification is watered down a bit.

At the front is a 5MP selfie camera with an LED flash that Tecno surprisingly managed to fit in the slim top bezel.

The back houses a dual-lens camera with a 13MP module being the main shooter with a QVGA lens assisting. The camera is clear enough to get some decent shots. There is a dual-LED flashlight sitting between each camera module.

Also, like most smartphones nowadays, the Tecno Spark 4 Air camera has software support that adds filters and adjustments for some beautiful shots.

Hardware and Memory Specifications

The Tecno Spark 4 Air is not much of a powerful smartphone, so Tecno opted for the MediaTek MT6762M Helio A22 processor. The processor has four (4) Cortex A53 cores each clocked at 2.0GHz maximum speed. The processor was fabricated using 12nm technology.

The Tecno Spark 4 Air offers 2 GB of RAM space, decent enough for minor multitasking. There is the 32GB space available for file storage and it can easily be expanded to 128GB using a memory card.

Battery and Software

The phone comes with a 300omAh battery that provides enough power juice for one day. As usual, there is no fast charge of any kind here.

In the software department, the Tecno Spark 4 Air runs on the Android 9.0 OS under the HiOS 5.5 skin. This skin provides additional software optimizations and security features for the device.
