Jakob Skrzypa

Jakob is an award-winning writer, director, and producer. As co-creator of the sketch comedy duo Fun Uncle, Jakob wrote, directed, and edited dozens of sketches; which have been featured on Funny or Die, and broadcast on CBC. Jakob’s short films have played in various festivals, including Fantasia, Toronto after Dark, earning him multiple best film, and best screenwriting awards. His debut penned feature, Vampire Zombies… from Space! has played in 30+ festivals around the world, and earned 15 awards.

In addition to writing, directing and producing comedy, Jakob has produced five seasons of MTV’s The Challenge, the first season of Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa and has served crew positions on series including Survivor, Big Brother Canada, and Nathan for You.
