Karin Slaughter (born January 6, 1971) is an American crime writer and producer. She has written 21 novels, which have sold more than 40 million copies and have been published in 120 countries. Her 2018 novel, Pieces of Her, was adapted into an eight-episode TV series of the same name, released in March 2022 on Netflix. Her ‘Will Trent’ series of books has been adapted into a drama TV series Will Trent on ABC starting January 2023, of which she is also an executive producer.
